I thought it might be a nice idea to be able to customise things like poker chips and playing cards. Maybe put your own club logo on chips or your own characters on cards.
Anyone know of anything?

A poker chip would just be a cylinder preset, squished along the long axis. Perhaps apply SubD or smoothing to round the edges.
Can't you just change the texture maps in the Surfaces pane to use your own design? You'd have to pay attention to the UV map of course.
Of course anything is possible, but I fear recreating a texture map that looks like it belongs on a playing card would be beyond my technical ability.
A playing card is just a rectangle. Create a plain and squish the x-scale to 2.5/3.5 ratio. In an image editor, create a similar rectangle in white and use black to round out the corners sve as a jpg and use as the opacity image to make the cards look like cards. (or do this in the geometry editor, but then the card has to have a decent level of mesh.)
Duplicate the opacity image and import scans of real playing cards. And apply the images to individual cards.
Sure, it would be more efficient to do this with one big image and UVs. But how many cards do you really need in focus in a render at a time?
Would these work? It has no textures (the one in the image is something I found on the net).
The playing card is approx. 57 * 89 * 0.3 mm with these surfaces: front, back and sides.
UV looks like this. If preferred, I can get both front and back to fill the whole square.
The jeton is 40 mm in diameter and 4 mm thick (I have actually no idea how big they are, so it is eyeballed). Has 3 surfaces: inner, outer and sides.
