DS 6.x mouse sensitivity w/ sliders

WoofWoof Posts: 12

I'm noticing today, as I finally get a chance to really play around in the update, that the mouse sensitivity is all over the place when I use it to adjust a slider... most of the time it increments MUCH slower than it used to, while if I try to force it and really pull the mouse, it zooms up (or down) incredibly far suddenly.  Is there a way to adjust this?  I feel like there's probably a setting I don't know about or something, or is this something others have noticed?  Thanks in advance, all.

Edit - I've tried messing with high DPI scaling to no effect, and confirmed everything still works normally on the old version.  The update pans around smoothly; it just seems to be something related to slider bars for some reason.

Another Edit - It's most noticeable when trying to translate or rotate, with it more pronounced on more complex objects like figures, but present to some extent even on simple objects.

I've noticed this as well, and it's super frustrating for those of us that prefer to use the sliders over the gizmo so that we're operating in world space rather than local space. there's nothing more annoying than trying to move a model 100+ units along the x axis with the sliders, or rotating a character more than 20 degrees. Whatever limiter you've placed on the sliders need's to be a toggleable option in the interface window that we can turn off, because it is terrible. node selection via viewport needs a lot of work as well. Trying to select a models head to change their expression with pose control sliders can be a nightmare, where you're mouse is directly over the head, but it's registering the left collar for some reason, even though the left collar isn't anywhere near the mouses viewport location. Whatever form of raycast DS6 is using to determine the mouse location isn't taking everything into account properly. I don't what it's missing, but it is missing something because selecting nodes in the viewport can be completely impossible at times.

Set the coordinate system used by the gizmo in Tool Settings

I have no trouble making big adjustments using the sliders - can you post a video of what you are seeing, or a fuller description

I don't see this with just a figure loaded - if you have items fitted to the figure then they may well confound the picking if their groups are oddly set up.

Yup yup, I actually took a couple of crude videos (sorry about the watermark at the end) to show on Discord when I first noticed this.

It's a little hard to tell AND hard to explain, but basically, when I drag the slider with equal strength, it seems to catch on something immediately, instead of flowing smoothly as it used to, and just... not really move at all, using very small increments.  I've tried playing around with the "nudge" setting's value, but that didn't help.

I don't see such a dealy or limited moves per drag (though I do have to stop and start the fragging as I run out of space and have to move the mouse back).
