Anyone going to SIGGRAPH and want to put faces to the names?

I always go when it takes place in Los Angeles for three reasons: 1) I want to shake Ton Rosendahl's hand, 2) sometimes you get to see PhD level research that doesn't get commercialized and will never be seen anywhere ever again, and 3) you meet interesting people who have the same passion that you do and that's inspiring.

    Not this year. I guess I'll miss my chance to walk up to a Pacific Bull Walrus and find out for myself what all the fuss is about. laugh
