50% off Annual Memberships for real??

CerragCerrag Posts: 258

On the sales page it says 50% OFF ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS but then say the discount might not display correctly at checkout.  So is there any assurance that if I click the button for the ANNUAL Daz Premier for $199, that it will indeed only charge around $100?  I'm afraid to click it cause I don't know if it'll just auto-charge without putting it into my cart first, so does anyone know by chance??

I risked it and it worked, but I don't know if I'd trust me as some rando forum member.

It worked for me too, and I was already a subscriber, although I only had about 2 weeks left. I had to switch to Monthly first, then to back to annual. Total cost was about 104 USD, and I lost the 2 weeks, but I still think it was worth it to not miss out on the 50% off. I am good to June next year now.

It used to extend if you were already subscribed, does it not do that anymore?

So just to clarify, what did you do? If you follow the link and go to that page, if you are current Premier, it shows "Cancel Membership" for Premier and "Change Membership" for Daz +. Like you mentioned for yourself, my existing Premier subscription ends in a couple of weeks.

I am a premium member already. I did click 'renew' in the membership options and it did display a welcome message. The expiration date of my premium membership did not change (I think) and as far as I can tell I was not charged. I also can no longer 'renew' my membership, just cancel it.

Maybe it works if you switch to monthly first. But just extending does not seem to work at all.

This is disappointing if they won't let you extend your membership anymore. I got plus a little over a month ago, so I would lose all the value I already paid for if I had to start over now to get this deal.

They stoppped allowing us to extend memberships back when they first introduced premiere.

For anyone wanting to take advantage of the offer whose membership expires this month, what others posted earlier in the day worked for me too.

    1. Change you current membership to monthly from annual.
    2. It will ask you to pay the prorated cost of a monthly membership. For me, it was a little over $9.
    3. Checkout. You'll get a confirmation that you're now on a monthly membership.
    4. Go back to your membership page and switch back to annual.
    5. It will give you the prorated cost of an annual membership. This is where the displayed annual price shows incorrectly.
    6. Checkout again. Before you complete the purchase, it should show you the ~$100 annual cost for a Premiere membership.
    7. You'll be back on an annual membership and get the 50% membership discount.

    Caveats:

    • You'll lose however many weeks you had left this month, as your new renewal date will be June 4 (or 5, depending on your time zone), 2027. I thought the almost $100 savings on my next year of membership was worth it.
    • I got an error trying to use a different credit card for the annual, so I had to use the same card I used to switch to monthly. I don't know if it was a glitch, but using the same card worked the second time.

    Premier just dropped to $164.50/year...

Sorry, I think that is a personal upgrade offer because I just purchased DAZ+.

So if we have more than a month left, we can't take advantage of this pricing for renewing Premium? Mine doesn't expire until October, but I thought I could renew now.
