Daz Asset Usage License

I'm starting to learn Blender and subscribed to several Blender adult content creators on Patreon. I noticed that there are some creators that use and share Daz assets that I recognize.

So I was wondering what is the legality of this? Can I also share Daz assets I purchased with my fans and supporters for a different program, such as Blender?

IMO, it doesn't feel fair to the Daz vendors that create these assets just so someone else can profit from the hard work they put in, in creating the assets. I'm starting to see more and more creators share assets and models via Blender.

There is no license that would alow people to share the content, in its original form or converted to another format. The only license that allows sharing the 3D data is the interactive license which covers only the use of the content in a game or the like, and specifically forbids distributing it as an asset or embedding it in an app that can render images.

It is not unusual for people to decide that they can reshare assets (either through not caring about or not understanding the licence), but no, as Richard says, it is not legitimate under any of Daz's licences.

If you can, please report the creators through Daz's ticket system: https://bugs.daz3d.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
