The received wisdom is that artists don't make things on commission, because the number of hours it takes make it prohibitively expensive - the costs that are spread over thousands of buyers in the shop are all falling on one person.

Maybe rewind a step and tell us what hairstyle you're looking for (with pictures), maybe somebody will be able to point you to something you've overlooked?

    laugh
Turns out, vendors are for some reasons great in navigating beyond everything I would like to see in the store.
This is especially true for hair. Out of a felt like million different hair here in the store, only one actually seems to work for me.
So I am still looking for a second or third hair.
I gave up asking for it.

    Hey there!

While I don't take private commissions, I do accept ideas :) I get a lot of requests, so i keep a running list.  If it suits my style, has market potential, and feels unique enough.. it goes on the list for when my creative mood strikes :)  There are no promises or guarantees. I need a lot of moons to align just right, but Im positive that I have filled a few requests/ideas/niches etc.

I bet a lot of vendors, not just me, do this.  It doesn't hurt to ask.  What does hurt the chances is making a public request with picture.  I personally will not bother when I know there are several other vendors are watching these threads eh.
