Carrara 8 Pro OSX Download link is broken

My old backup does not open and the download link fails. The windows link works but I'm using OSX

    You'd probbaly need to open a support ticket for this, though the back-up copy not opening may be down to a chnage in the Mac OS (is it possibly 32 bit, for example?)

    there are issues with Carrara and the later version of Mac

    I am not a Mac user so cannot tell you what they are, just that there are some

    I know there is something to do with reading files from the Carrara browser
