Memory requirements for iray products

Just think it would be nice to know what the memory reuqirments are for products in the marketplace. I'm looking for example at stonemason streets of Tuscany and some other scenes, and I wonder of it they would fit in my gtx 780 3GB video card. or would it send the render to CPU. Is the scene 2GB, 1GB ... it would be nice to see the memory requirments in the market place, i'm holding off on certain products, becuase I have no clue if they will work with my current GPU setup.

    Probably. Bear in mind that rendering at lower resolution will reduce the memory requirements somewhat.

    If they don't initially, here or customer support could make suggestions to reduce requirements. And if nothing works you can return the product.

    If the card is your display card, you could also consider making your cpu graphics capabilities drive your display.

    I would suspect that a 3GB card should be able to cope with the large majority of all scene sets available at this store. However, how many full dressed characters, and other props can be added after that, will obviously be highly variable.
