Manual downloads not working in MS Edge
For about a week now, manual downloads do not work properly in MS Edge, e.g., from the Product Library. The data transfers, but the transfer does not complete, leaving the file in limbo with a filename "Unconfirmed nnnnnn.crdownload". It all works properly in Firefox and Chrome, so it is not a site problem, nor a Win11 problem. It actually works on Win 10, but that machine is now relegated to jigsaw puzzles.
DIM works fine, I do not use Connect. Yes, I have the latest version of Edge (which is probably the source of the problem), I have cleared the cache, restarted the machine, but I did not re-install Windows (like I would ever do that ridiculous suggestion). I have the same problem on other sites with their zip files, too, but other file types come through no problem (jpg, png, pdf, etc.)
Anyone else having this problem? I have not changed any Edge or Security settings in a long time. There is no history of any action taken by the Security or Anti-virus.

Thanks, that thread was not expected. Turning off " SmartScreen for Microsoft Edge" allows the downloads to complete, but I don't feel it is an ideal solution. I don't want to leave it off all the time, and switching it off and on depending on the site is tedious.

But I am on Windows 10, and it isn't a problem that I have, so all I know is from that thread.
Could you use another anti-virus program where you dedicated can allow Daz as source?
Use a different browser. Any other browser.
I did mention Firefox and Chrome were okay. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed the same. This "Reputation-based protection" seems a tad over-protective.
