Camera tracking importer won’t render my photos
I'm using camera tracking importer by 3d universe. I followed the instructions in the video but the photo didn't render. Just the Daz character. The imported photo did not import. Note I'm using a Windows 11 computer two Nvidia Titan RTX on nvlink and hitman photos are stored on google drive as i have no way to save them directly to iCloud from my phone which is iPhone 12

I'm using the latest edition of cameratrackAR by the way. What did I do wrong and how do I fix it?
You didn't do anything wrong, Studio can't render the movie file as a background, you'll need to use an NLE(non-linear eidtor) like Premiere to do the final composit.
Per the product page:
"Note: Unfortunately, DAZ Studio doesn't have a way of having a video as the backdrop to your scene. This does mean you need to use a video application to composite the rendered image sequence into your original video."
Oh. Dang that sucks. I can't afford premiere. That's a $800-$1000 software. I have a photoshop subscription that isn't too expensive. I don't think premiere is an option as i think it's over $500/month subscription but then again I haven't checked on premiere prices since i was in college. If it's affordable to me then I will get it but I can't drop hundreds of dollars on a subscription per month
Will photoshop work for this or do I absolutely require premiere?
I just looked. I can afford a monthly subscription to premiere and they even have a free trial. So I'm gonna get it next month and sign up for the free trial tonight first to see if I really want it
I think Blender can do this, or whatever the free version of Black Magic Fusion is called. Maxon and Canva also have new, free, tools that handle at least soem aspects of video editing. There should be numerous other optons too.
Thanks. I just decided to go with a monthly subscription for premiere as it's actually not horribly expensive and I'm more familiar with it. I have (very limited) experience with it as I used it for a semester in college in a class I took. So I am at least comfortable with it more than other options.
Another vote for Davinci Resolve. It can to this (and A Lot More) very easily for free. Much cheaper than Adobe (even for the pay for Studio version), and more stable as well
