Hi everyone - I’ve recently become aware of various crypto and meme-coin projects using the Emotiguy name, my work, or claiming some form of association with me or 3D Universe.

To be absolutely clear:
I am not affiliated with, involved in, endorsing, or verifying any of these projects.

While I was the original creator of Emotiguy, I no longer own the intellectual property and have no connection to how it is currently being used.

Some projects are using my name, brand, or past work without permission, and any claims suggesting otherwise are false and misleading.

Please read my full official statement here: https://3duniverse.co.za/EmotiguyStatement.php

Thanks for your support - and please be cautious out there.

Yes, you can still use the figure within Daz's Terms of Use.
Meme-coins are a grey area legally and I don't want issues from people using my name and brand to market their crypto coins and making it seem like I endorse or profit from it.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. Very not cool on the part of those ventures. I hope word gets out; if a company can't be trusted to be honest about that, I can't imagine they should be trusted with anyone's money.

Locking this as it has served its purpose as an informative post and we do not want it to develop into accusations against specific entities or groups, or arguments about crypto in general. We did make the thread a sticky so others can see it.
