How to export a decimated model to Unity using "Decimator for DAZ Studio

Hello,
I am currently trying to export a model with reduced polygon count using "Decimator for DAZ Studio" to Unity via "Daz to Unity bridge".

However, the exported model does not reflect any polygon reduction and remains high-poly.

Is my workflow incorrect?
If so, what would be the correct method?

The store page for "Decimator for DAZ Studio" states:
*"Game Developers - will love being able to create lower poly versions of customized DAZ 3D figures which can be exported directly into popular game engines."*

So I believe there should be a way to properly export a decimated model for use in Unity.

Does anyone know the correct workflow or solution?

It is much easier to decimate in Unity by itself.

I have tried to decimate a hair in Daz Studio and then sent it via a bridge to Unity,

but cannot get any good results in Unity.

If you find a way, please let us know.

Should I work in Unity after all...?
    I'll look into Asset Store.

I also encountered the same problem with decimating hair.
However, because of the model's shape, decimating the hair definitely causes it to lose its shape, so I'm considering purchasing low-poly hair from CGTrader or similar sites.

    Thank you for your help.
