When Did G3M Get Socks?

I'm looking at the Capsces Pin-Up Guy 7 Poses and I quickly took notice to an article of clothing I haven't seen for G3M yet: dress socks. When did that happen? Because I have a story in my queue with a business meeting scene taking place in a traditional Japanese-aesthetic setting and most of the characters present are typical Western suit-and-tie males. Are they part of a new formal product on it's way out or is it maybe a nicely done conversion? I'm not seeing the article's origin among the addotional used products list...

I found a pair of knee socks in the Smart Content>Wardrobe>Socks category.   They are from WM Sneakers for Genesis fitted to Guy 7, textured with Snuggle Up Knits for Iray.
