Freebie Challenge April 2026 - FREE FOR ALL!

Denizens, it is your corporate overlord. I'm back once again, and I bring with me the usual array of lacklustre prizes, shoddy house-keeping and poor communication. This year, competitors, I gather you all into the thunderdome, to compete amongst friends and enemies alike. The prizes have been doubled, the rules are thin on the ground, and danger is ever present. This years April competition will be the equivalent of a rage room, where you can cast off the shackles of your occupational oppressors and express yourself to the fullest. Grab your nose, your shoes, and your unicycle denizens, because you're about to enter the clown car of April. Be careful, it's a free-for-all that only a fool would consider.

TL;DR: Render whatever you want. The more chaotic, the better. It's a free-for-all, after all...

 

Rules:

 

  1. Minimum of 3 freebies.

  2. A Maximum of 5 purchased items.

  3. Genesis and its standard morphs are fine.

  4. If you postwork your images, provide the base image.

  5. You can use AI for post-work, upscaling, colour work etc, just go easy and stick with the spirit of the competition. 

  6. All Daz ecosystem programs are allowed – Bryce, carrara etc (Even poser, If you behave yourself)

  7. Images pictures are subject to Daz TOS.

  8. No max Entries on this one. I can't count. Do as many as you want.

This Freebie Challenge will end April 30th, 2026 @ 23:59 Daz time.

 

First Place: $30 store credit from KindredArts
Second Place: $20 store credit from KindredArts
Third Place: $10 store credit from KindredArts

    Oh yup. I need this challenge to cheer me up! And that means it's also time for me to get back to some comic one-pagers...wink

    Thank you to everyone who took part this year. I've been a very busy beaver so i couldn't be around as much as i'd like to be. I'm sure one day i'll be made redundant, or expelled to an island somewhere, and then i'll be able to spend much more time with all of you. Until that time though, i'm incredibly relieved that you can all join together in the spirit of competition and mutal contempt. Keep those fire's alive denizens!

    Here are the winners of the annual 2026 April Freebie Competition....

    1st place - @Cupcake - Killer Sale Going on. (The comitte loved this one. I don't know anything about clothing, and i only shop online, so i'll assume this is what the normal shopping experience is like)



    2nd Place - @Sapphireblue - Heavy metal nuns (I've never seen a nun close up, so i trust this is a realistic rendition)



    3rd place - @Sagittarian_3D_Renderer - Teamwork (Lots of good stuff as usual. More than one render popped up in voting, so i picked this one.)




    Thank you to everyone who took part in this competition, included my frequent flyers like @stezza, keeping the carerra spirit alive, @emanuela1 for picking up the slack when we need help, and everyone else for sticking around. For a small, plucky group of misfits, we've managed to keep going for quite a while. Keep at it denizens, i'll see you in june!

    Not to be TLDR- Not all shopping is like that. 

    I worked retail for 6.5 years in a chain store that was in chapter 11 and eventually went to chapter 7 . Which ment very limited stock was on hand at all times. which ment people got angry.

    Though when Black Friday came  It was insane. The store opened at 6 am for just that day and customers were lined up outside the front doors , asking are you open?!! . The managers would be at the door opening it just a hair to let us employess in to clock in and get ready before relocking the door.

    When the store was open, the customers came in running.  They threw stuff all over the place, price checks were everywhere.. and the dreaded " This is on sale!! " yelling was everywhere.  Or because we were out of things already..they would have some choice words for us cashiers when they got in line.

    The lady grabbing the cashiers hand in my image was a true thing.. I had that happen to me more than once.
