Z Everyday Van Poses for Genesis 9 question

Hi, folks! I recently bought Z Everyday Van Poses for Genesis 9 by Zeddicuss. I was running into an issue where I can't get the poses to work with Genesis 8.1 Female figures. I've got Bone Minion for Genesis 9 for Genesis 8 and 8.1 by RiverSoft Art (and the Genesis 8 and 8.1 for Genesis 9, for that matter) so I can use Genesis 9 poses with the figure. The thing is that when I parent the figure to the van like I'm supposed to I can't get the Genesis 8.1 figure to work with the poses. It works fine when I use a Genesis 9 figure, however.
So what am I doing wrong?

They are hierarchical poses, so the pose file for G9 is looking for a G9, nothing else (all the internals are looking for a Genesis 9/Base, 1615 times). The Bone minion has a different node name, so it won't be recognized. There is a way around that though. Pose a G9 and save that as a regular pose set (not hierachical). Then you can apply that pose to the G8 with a Bone Minion.

Bone Minion only supports Hierarchical Pose Presets when a Prop is parented to a figure rather than a figure is parented to a Prop ~~ so it doesn't work for this Van case.

1) Parent your G8F to the Van, select G8F,  load the H.Pose Preset;

2) Still with G8F as well as the H.Pose Preset selected, run G9 Pose Converter script. (Add the converter scripts to Scripts menu or Toolbar beforehand...)

(Then tweak your G8F's transform values as needed because G8F has a different shape from G9...)
