My wife makes jewellery from precious metal clay (mould like clay, then sinter in a furnace at about 950C to burn off the clay and get silver, bronze or gold flakes to amalgamate into a single piece). I've shown your 3d jewellery and wishes she had the imagination to come up with designs as good for the stuff she makes. Lovely. Regards, Richard.

Thank you!!!! Makes me blush ❤️ I would love to see her creations. My daughters keep telling me I should find a jewelry maker or orphebre to bring to real life my things. Maybe some day! Big hugs and blessings to both of you!

I used a few of the new rings and bracelets and one ring from an older set.

I had to pose both G9 figures manually. That was the only difficult part.
I have a question about Ring 2. I didn't see a preset to hide the stone for Ring 2, but there was such a preset for Ring 1 and Ring 3, I think. Did I overlook one for Ring 2, or can that stone not be hidden?

Great posing indeed. About the rings: the Ring 2 hasn't the option of hiding stone due the structure. It's smaller and less complex, without the stone would be sort of poor looking, IMO. The bigger is a statement itself with or without the stone. You didn't miss anything;)

Thanks for the ring/stone explanation. Here is another render using your latest and some earlier products. Mira strikes a pose. (Keeping this thread alive. I also gave the product (and others) a thumbs up in the new rating system.)

That looks beautiful! The tailed belt looks flawless in the posing/draping. Exactly like I imagined it LOL. The purple is my favorite color, shown this to mother and she said she worn a top like that in her hippie years, ha! I didn't know she was so bold in the 60's! Great job, Barbara, I love it. Yes, keep the threads alive, thank you!!!!!! Btw, thanks for the thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!

I imagine you didn't know that your accessories could also be worn by cats. You should check out Richard Haseltine all decked out in several of your products. laugh

    Oh, it has bracelets!

They were something I felt were missing in your (very nice) Cathya set and I was happy to see them being part of the snake themed jewelry and more than happy to see them in Artissane. The ones without a gem should work without too much hasle with Cathya, and I suppose it's likely possible to kitbash something to replace the round gem by some from the Cathya set but I have yet to try.

An element I like very much with your various sets is the work you're doing to allow us to mix pendants and necklaces easily, which allows going back to older scenes created before the release of a product with a new pendant to replace an older one with that new one smiley

An example, the base scene was created last year and I just replaced every piece of jewelry with the ones from Artissane, except the necklace and voila laugh

    'Olympia 9 by night'

While playing with the set, I decided to use it with Genesis 8 too and they are as nice looking on Clara 8.1 as they were on Olympia 9:

    'Clara 8.1'

I found two minor problems with the Genesis 8 files though (other users will find a solution to each of them at the end of my message).

As you have a commercial thread, I'm reporting them here first, but if needed, I can open a ticket with Daz too later this week.

    1. all 'Full materials' presets ('01-Bronze', and so on) in the Genesis 8 directory will raise a missing file error about '/data/fabiana/Artissane/ZERO-PendantComplete/UV Sets/fabiana/Base/default.dsf' not being found. As far as I can tell, the material presets seems to be applied despite that error (I saw values being changed in the Surface panel):

    2. ART-Bracelet Model 04 LEFT is parented on the Right Forearm Twist bone instead of the left bone, and vice-versa with the right bracelet. Their position, if loaded without a figure selected, is correct though and once parented on the correct bone, they will work as intended.

Loading them on Clara 8.1, to show the problem, with arrows to find the bracelets more easily (I did scratch my head a bit initially, thinking I mis-clicked on the duf files):

Loading them without G8F base selected, to show that their positions unparented are correct:

Once parented to the correct bones, it's time to do a back flip and, hourra, they're still where they should be:

If other users are looking for a solution, they are easy solutions for each problem: for the first problem, the Genesis 9 files don't have the same problem and for what I saw, will apply just fine on the Genesis 8 items while sparing the clicks to close windows about the missing file.

The second one require a bit more work, but it's still fairly easy:

    1. Load G8F in her default pose and shape
    2. Unselect it
    3. Load ART-Bracelet Model 04 LEFT, parent it to G8F's Left Forearm Twist (bonus step: save a wearable preset for it).
    4. Load ART-Bracelet Model 04 RIGHT, parent it to G8F's Right Forearm Twist (bonus step: save a wearable preset for it).

For these last two steps, (I'm speaking to past Elor who didn't know about it and lost some time a couple of months ago blush), it's important to have 'Parent Items in Place' checked (I think it's the case by default but you can check by right clicking on the Scene tab then Parenting).

Two problems but two, hopefully, nice renders, which feels like a fair trade smiley

@Elor thank you so much for pointing these slipped issues, I will ask QA how to update and fix them, but I am glad you found the easy solution! When doing so many files things can happen ;) So very happy as well to know all that work of making everything compatible is appreciated! I myself love to kitbash. Thank you so much for posting images and workarounds!
