can't use forum search from phone + linux

not the 1st time I'm in a bind on this forum since my laptop crashed, and i can't search anything, after i click go it jumps to the shop page instead of showing search results. and yes a gazillion people have already posted threads/comments about this.. but guess what, i can't search for it. admire the irony.. anyway my question was: any plans from daz in a near future to make DS accessible for Linux users? after my old laptop crashed, but apparently, not sure, maybe rather due to win10 than its old gears, continuing with win10 i first have to try to update from a 2016 version is obviously a liability. this machine shouldn't be able either to run on win11 unless i got one of those erroneous warnings. and after researching info on win11, I'm not installing this big brother tool on any pc I'm using for daily life and/or daz. so DS will have to take a back seat until i can afford a new laptop, but even then, if DS still won't cater to linux users, I'm becoming one right now, i will literally have to use 1 laptop for DS and possibly other linux incompatible programs... and my daily computer to go online and use whatever runs on linux.. so, DS and linux, any time soon? with/out maybe emulators?

thx for the overwhelming reactions. and then people wonder why some people turn to AI for info instead of humans. info which i got from Gemini.. at least about the linux part. why this forum is so unpractical on many levels is not worth spending AI resources..

I'm sure you found out, but definitely don't expect a Linux version of DAZ Studio anytime soon (or ever). However, there is thread on the forum on using DS in Linux here:
    https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/60901/daz-studio-and-linux/p1

Using the forum search is just an exercise in futility, it has never worked well and IMHO probably never will. The best way to search the forums with Google is to enter your search, then follow it with "site:daz3d.com/forums", this will give you only search results from the DAZ 3D forums.

    Google search example: Linux site:daz3d.com/forums

I use Google for searches because on my android tablet the forum search is a shop search that always fails. The developers were told months ago with the last website update and seem to have responded with the usual alacrity. Renderosity, oth, seems to have done updates within a week to the two feature requests I have made. Regards, Richard.

I'm not surprised, and meanwhile i also use Google especially AI. i wanted human confirmation directly from people who are confronted with the situation.. and i always found that this forum, since it was completely changed a few years ago, like what, 10 years, is the worst I've ever seen. even when the search works, like on a computer, you get comments in full length including images and quotes, and relevance is minimal. apparently not a priority..
