Has anybody successfully used this with HDD drives? If so, what were your experiences?

I must have missed the $5 coupon. Dang.

My DAZ library is on my L drive (for library). Program works just fine. Took about an hour to scan my library folders, and another hour to do the hdri scan, which is amazing considering how much I have. There's a touch of learning curve, and the organization is a little bit clunky, but I think it's going to work a treat as soon as I get all my sorting done.

I'm glad somebody got it to work. Is your library on an SSD? My library is on an external HDD. It took about 18 hours to scan my 8 TB library and even after the scan the results did not display properly. Any suggestions?

I think mine is not an ssd. I don't know how to check, lol. I am a software girlie who only pretends to know anything about hardware. I'm still going through stuff, and there are some things where they shouldn't be (I found a bunch of G8 male characters in the Hair section) but I'm dealing as best I can. For the $5 I got it for with the coupon, I'll happily deal and utilize what it gives me, 'cause I was literally just about to go through and start changing folders so I could find things the day this utility was released

    To answer my own question:

With some perserverence I I now have EZ-Finder working on my system (I messed up my first scan attempt and nothing showed up even in the left panel and had to start over)

I have a very large DAZ library (~8Tb, over 3,500 products) stored on an external HDD and a pretty fast system (Windows 11, AMD Ryzen 9 7900x, 64 GB Ram, RTX 3090) That runs DAZ Studio well. My initial scan took about 12 hour and the HDRI scan took another 8 hours. EZ-Finder took me a bit of time  to get used to but seems to be working OK

Initially I was disappointed that only the left panel was populated and I had to experiment a bit to figure out the left panel and how to populate the other panels. I also found that using the library button to locate a product and then load it to the other panels is also useful.. Injecting a product into DAZ Studio only takes a minute or two for it to appear in my scene. I haven't tried EZ-Shader yet but it looks like it may be useful.

Please take a look at the official support thread:

+1. Agree 100%. Go check out the PA's thread. The promos do not do the product justice. I hesitantly bought it on day one, BUT knowing what I know now I would I would buy it in a heartbeat. If any of you still want to use 3Delight shaders painlessly this is a must have and that is only a fraction of what it does. Why not get it from the horse's mouth? Go ask the PA. He knows the answers better than anyone else.

Edit: For those who found those videos rambling, you may want to check out his official video he made 11 hours ago for buyers, rather than those older social videos he made during the year he spent creating the product and sharing//testing it/streaming to followers.

Those numbers sound odd.  Don't you mean 35.000 products (I think I read in another post/thread that you have something like that)?
