Dforce clothing going through model.

Hey guys I have purchased few products but I am encountering an issue.  I recently purchase the model - https://www.daz3d.com/hid-helena-for-genesis-81-female?srsltid=AfmBOopFyV9euGd4sEa_aLkNIQfIOMksA4l01ur0Le9-B_8_8dG_y72s
I also got this sweater - https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/162519/maxi-sweater-dress-for-g881-females

The D-force is working fine when I use the orignal model and this sweater.

But I am using Genesis 8.1 base model and use sliders to make her look like HID Helena. Now when I am trying to use D-force, the sweater falls through the model.  Not sure why it happening.  I turn off Self-colide as well but no result, it still falls.
I am confused when it is working on HID Helena than why not on 8.1? How to make it work on 8.1 because I have added so much work on her and dont want to redo everything again on HID Helena. Is there a work around?

Thank you for your help.

Did you check if some bones of the figures are invisible to simulation? You can check for one bone by clicking on it, then in the Parameters tab, open the Display section and check that Visible to simulation is set to On.

If it's not that, did you try to run the simulation setting Collision mode to 'Best' ? I had some problem with clothes falling inside a figure in the past that were solved by doing that. Just a warning: it'll made the simulation slower.

If it's not that, I don't know what could be the source of the problem, but maybe someone else will have other ideas.

  • Thanks @Elor. I tried your method, but couldnt fix it that way.

Finally I got it working.  In case someone need help with this. I went to Edit - Figure - Applied Static Dforce on my model.
    Thats it.
    It is working fine.

  • Here is the working Image.
Hope you have a great day!

Anything involved in the simulation that isn't dynamic will be treated as having a default Static dforce modifier applied - you need apply one explicitly only if you want to change the default values (e.g. fricton). It  may be that applying the modifier cleared an unwanted and unneeded property, such as a weight  map left from something else.
