https://www.daz3d.com/gordillo-for-genesis-9

Gordillo,  a tough little tank with a big heart and a bigger shell. Inspired by the natural armor of the armadillo, Gordillo blends rugged charm with a warm, approachable personality. His sturdy build and rounded proportions make him feel powerful yet friendly, equally at home in fantasy worlds, stylized adventures, or light-hearted sci-fi settings.

With five expressive eye color options, you can easily dial in his mood, personality, or allegiance. Whether he’s a gentle protector, a gruff mercenary, or a lovable brawler, Gordillo’s armored exterior hides a soft soul just beneath the shell.

I didn't see the unedited but yes a username similar but has a furry avatar, a bear (edited post)

the second bit though, I do think an armadillo armour would be really cool for any G9 character not just yours yes

I  suspect Gordillo might ask why you don't then where a helmet made from a human skull.

I just wanted to be clear, I was not in any way disparaging the character

it looks cute and I may pick it up one day to add to my collection

I was just reading through your Genie thread and now understand the defensiveness

    this Ai image I stole from someone else (bite me, AI has no copyright}

shows what I sort of meant by armor (not quite, could be done much better by a real modeller)

a scaly suit like the turtle character wears a shell

but understand you don't do clothing

I do hope someone can though because I certainly cannot blush

    Thank You

I am glad to hear that you like him....I am currently working a theme with him, Remy the skunk, and a number of other woodland friends for them. So you can have a whole collection.

  • I like your work, it is overall most inventive and widely useful. I only wish you supplied full maps for all of your figures. But that's your choice. It only influences my buying decisions. Though I do have a wide swath of your library. It's interesting that your less aggressive animal types (herbivores) tend to be on the "cute" side.

It's pretty easy to make a less aggressive character look more aggressive - adding a more prominent brow ridge, making the features a bit more square like a more square or wider jaw, and expressions that furrow the brows and bare some teeth, etc. Bit it's a lot less easy to make an aggressive character look less aggressive, IMO. So I appreciate more "neutral" and less aggressive characters as I think they're a bit more widely useful, since they can also be made into younger characters, elderly grandfather figure characters, etc. I do appreciate RawArt's ability to create cool and unique characters without pushing them too far into certain "roles" or stereotypes. I think the customization of them adds a lot to the value of the characters.

    Thanx

The cuteness is not because of being herbivore, it is just my current mood with creating. The world is a scary place right now, so I like warm and friendly things to work on. It helps keep me sane ;)

And who doesnt like a little warm and friendly nowadays :)
