Question about DAZ Studio Premier

It's a simple question: 

Do the app features stop working when you stop subscribing, or...?  If so, is there a way to purchase a one-time version, or are we doing this as an Adobe-style customer capture?

    Premiere features requires you to log in once in a while to update your membership status.

    If your membership ends, you will no longer have access to premier features.

    There's no option to purchase a one-time version, it's only available as subscription

    Bear in mind that it isn't a separate application, it is some extra featues in the main application, some plug-ins, and some content (the exclusive shapes for Name 9 characters, which have to be installed through Connect). If the subscription lapses then those features are no longer avaialble - but many of them are use and exit, they don't leave anything live in the scene that will render it unusable (obviosuly the shapes, any Geometry Sculptor modifiers that have not been baked to morphs). Features like AutoSave and render queue will stop working, but that won't block accessing or working on the scenes.
