Help. Possible "damage" to the Daz Library Data Directory

After making some bespoke morphs that I wanted to save for this class of figure, I mistakenly did a " save-as/support asset/ modifier asset/ ... " under my own vendor name and product code for all the morphs on this standard figure (G2F). This appears to have deleted miles of proper data directory entries and re-written them under my data sub-directory. No actual damage other than the storage is now all "wrong" and I presume all the .duf's are rewritten with the new locations so I can't just windows explorer them back to their original location.
Short of somehow ditching my Daz Library and trying to recreate from nothing, is there any way to "undo" this foul-up that is more or less simple.
Thanks in advance for any constructive suggestions.

When you saved the modifier asset, did you then tick all morphs in that character?
Yes. That was my error. I was expecting another dialogue to fix it, but it was a call to action. I've looked with explorer in the data directory. All these are now under my vendor etc. Ho Hum.
I would expect they have been saved doubble.
Have you tried looking for the data files, in the expected position with file manager?
And what does it look like if you take a screenshot of e.g. Parameters > Actor > Full Body
I looked in the data files for selected morphs. There is only one for each - under my vendor, so the originals appear to be deleted. I have some backups so I could copy the originals in from there and delete the ones in my vendor - I just don't know if that blows things up. Data can be a bit finickity.
Not sure what you wanted the screenshot to show you, but here it is. The angel is a G2F figure with bespoke skin etc. Without going deep, the sliders all appear to work, and are not duplicated.
Hmm, I would have expected that they would be saved under your vendor name, and not removed from the original.
And you can confirm, that in file manager, they are no longer under the original vendor name?
The modifier assets were just re-saved in your Vendor Folder and the original DSF files are intact. It should be easy to fix the issue by removing your Vendor folder ~~ :
1) under the folder: your Daz Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 2\Female\Morphs , locate the folder named as your Vendor Name, cut and paste the folder to a non-Daz Library disk or folder;
2) Clear the scene in DS. Hit F2 key, in General tab, Clear DSON Cache Files.
3) Load a G2F Base figure, check if everything is fine.
Finally, check the morph sub-folders in your Vendor Folder that you just removed, if there's any useful morphs that you ever saved before with no issue, move them back to: your Daz Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 2\Female\Morphs\your Vendor Folder\
I ever accidentally made the very same mistake with G8F long time ago, I fixed the issue in the above way ~
Thanks crosswind. I will give that a go. When I looked, I thought the originals were gone - but I will give your technique a go and see what happens. i have a backup, so can recover. Cheers.
