Question about the Bone Visibility product
I am pondering upon getting [Bone Visibility] this product today, but I would like to ask a few questions:
- Is it possible to reduce the opacity of the figure with the clothes attached to the figure simultaneously?
- The product doesn't mention anything about hair and whether or not its opacity can be reduced. Can hair be reduced in opacity?

Moved to techncial help as it is a question about a product, not an in search of/would like to see topic.

It hides bones, specific body parts, not other elements and not by adjusting their opacity (as far as I understand it it switches off the Visible property on the node). It should work, I would expect, on correctly named bones (not extra bones used for adjusting clothing) as long as both figures are selected when the preset is applied.
So, a little off-topic, but is there any way for me to reduce opacity of figures and clothing simultaneously and make it appear that the figure and clothes appear partially invisible without the figure's body being seen through the partially invisible outfit?
Or, is there any shader that can allow me to make the figure - clothing and body together - appear partially invisible in an iRay render?
It's a really good thing I asked about the Bone Visibility before I made the decision to buy it - because now I realize that it doesn't seem to be what I had expected.
The trouble is that seeing the background through the clothes is not physically possible - it's an overlay effect from photography and film, not the way a "real" semi-transparent figure would behave. In 3Delight, which wasn't physically based, it could be faked with shader code (pwGhost) but in Iray I think it largely needs to be done with post-work blending two images (there are a few products that have at least come close, though).
