Premier tokens not being granted at the $5 purchase threshold

I've added more than five dollars of items to my cart and it says I need to add more to earn any tokens. I'm a Premier member (for the moment, at least...) and I thought that they were supposed to be granted in $5 spend increments. Is there some catch I'm not aware of?

You should post a screenshot of your cart to allow others to help. I don't believe there are products that are excluded from the token-earning qualification but if others can see your cart someone might be able to spot the cause.

Just did a few tests:

1. 1 item in the basket for a total of $10 - it correctly says I would earn 2 tokens
2. 1 item in the basket for a total of $6.80 - it correctly says I would earn 1 token
3. Used 5 tokens on the above to get total down to $5.10 - still says I would earn 1 token
4. Used 1 extra token on the above to get total down to $4.96 - it correctly says I would earn 0 tokens and need to spend $0.04 more.

So, working as it should as far as I am aware.

Gift cards are excluded from the tokens system and there is a bug in how tokens are calculated when adding a gift card to the number of tokens shown on the cart page. The bug should not impact the total of tokens you'll be awarded after the purchase, but if you have a gift card in your cart, I would remove it to check if the system is calculating correctly the number of tokens.
