Is there any news on the front of support for the 5000 series for iray rendering? I just bought a 5080 and installed it to get better preformance than my 3080ti, and now are discovering iray rendering doesn't work at all.

    You can download Daz Studio 6.x. It supports RTX 50x. It is still in Alpha which means most scripts and plugins won't work, till they get updated.

    But you can prepare your scene in Daz Studio 4.x and render in DS 6.

    To find it in DIM you must enable it in filters, and maybe also 'Public Builds'.

    and DS 2025/6 is the only way - DS 4 cannot support the new cards as there is no version of Iray that can be integrated into it, due to an incompatible chnage in the way nVidia compiles the modules.

    Its really not that bad.  I was kind of forced into the 5060 card and was dreading it.  But using both versions of daz hasn't been terrible and I am assuming at some point, most things will be upgraded to work in the Alpha version.
