Daz on 2 pc

hello people. I seriously asked the AI assistant if I can have daz on 2 PCs, he says yes but he doesn't recommend having daz studio running at the same time.. why the login limits and something with the license.. but the purchased content and daz are valid for me, not for the PC im are cunfused right now

    Provided that the two machines are only used by yourself then you can have your content installed on both machines. There is a limit on how many connections to your account you can have at once tho I believe. However, you can run both of them at the same time although it may cause some issues if they share the same CMS perhaps.

    I would say it is not unusual or unexpected at all for there to be a login limit as one person can only do so much at once. Perhaps rendering a scene on the first machine whilst starting work on a different scene on the second machine is a somewhat common and allowed scenario. If you were firing up a bunch more different machines then perhaps at that point you are probably well beyond what the standard licence is meant to cover.

    you don't need to login to studio itself if using DIM to download contact

    so maybe connect which I don't use, has issues

    I only plan to render on one PC and start a new project on the other. Or when I render on one, I will learn new things like Fluidos, but I still have a problem. I use DIM (Daz Install Manager) to install packages, so hopefully there will be no problem if I only use that.

    I have DAZ Studio and DIM installed on 2 PCs

    I get an error trying to download products simultaneously on both but consequetively is fine

    definitely can render on both at once

    (well could, today my old one isn't booting up but that's a hardware issue, I suspect  my one remaining  RAM stick}

    be careful ram cards are starting to get expensive. buy now while they are cheaper. do you happen to have a pc with Nvidia 5050 or newer that's why I'm asking if you also happen to have a problem with daz .. it says that people have a problem with some aplha version

    its my old Win7, no graphics card, was using Filament on it

    probably not worth buying new RAM and not the first set of sticks that failed on it either

    more annoying it was my Poser7 machine with the physics plugin

    I used it a lot for creating animated ragdoll animations

    and also only machine that ran Virtual World Dynamics

    I am fully aware of the RAM crisis so likely going to mothball it for now

    are a lot of music programs on it I use too, so disappointing
