quick grab, date the expiration, and warn about some items

apparently fast grab items don't generate the warning about "some promotions in your cart are about to expire" would be nice to know
And even better a countdown clock for the time they're up.
Letting me know the $6 cart is going away in a bit is better than me looking at the new $60 price, it doesn't generate a $60 sale that's for sure.
I did check the cart before 11 and then went to find some more stuff to justify putting it on a credit card. If a reminder had been on the cart would have been a sale and a win for me and for daz.

...well it's been an hour and 25 min since Daz "Zero Hour" and the Quick Grab page still has nothing on it.

The Quick Grab selection is refreshed every monday. While the previous selection is always removed at the start of the day, the new one should be too but it's regularly bugged and  when it happens, the selection will usually be refreshed after someone get back in Daz office.

One line of embedded code to the quick grab listing reminds us
likewise a line of code or two to add quick grabs into the "expiring soon list" reminds us.
My goal is to content to us the stuff I have not set timers etc to make it easier to check sales a good sales forces makes it easy for the customer.
I had a small sf specialty press, I didn't count on my customers checking my web page, 90% of my sales were to book sellers. New publication, spend a couple hours making phone calls. Harder for them to say no and easier to say yes.
Rule of sales used to be KISS, Keep It Simple Stupid, make it easy for the customer.

The way Daz can make it easy for me is to keep the sales interface as quick and easy and helpful as can be because I'm trying to use the stuff, too.

It's quite perplexing/sad/irritating (all at once) because they have managed to get it right two weeks in a row.

Just how difficult must it be to use the same bit of code as last week's and change the date to 26 Jan, one wonders? Instead, they took the failed code from 3 weeks ago & changed the date on that instead.

Cat's. They must be cats. Do it right twice in a row to show they can do it, and then go back to doing it wrong. Deliberately taunting.

    Regards,

    Richard.

USE the stuff? What in the world can you mean? There is an actual USE for the stuff I buy here?!

     Flabbered and gasted, I am!

I do try to use a bit of it, you know, just enough to justify checking to see what's new?
