Support more rendering architectures?

Hello everyone,

I wonder if DAZ could investigate the possibility of adding either a native renderer für AMD GPUs, or even add Blender's cycles as renderer, which is under Apache License v2 and therefore can be integrated into commercial software.

Currently, I have a 3090 working in my PC, but considering its age, I fear it might break down any day now. An equivalent replacement at current prices is not affordable for me. An optional renderer for lower cost gpus would be very welcome.

The SDK is available for DS 4 (and, in due course, for DS 202x), there is nothing stopping someone - off their own bat or to commission - from adding a new renderer, creating shaders (or whatever), making materials and/or writing a converter from Iray and/or 3Delight, etc. License terms permitting, of course.

I'm using a titanX 12g I got on ebay years ago and a 1080ti 11g that came with the handme down PC.
My computers run 24/7 year round and I've been using the cards for years.
I do run with the case open and have never had any temp alerts, cards not overclocked
And the cards also average 5 or 6 hours a day of gaming.

The folder below has most of the scene files and renders for 2024/2025.
