I would like to have pure lights for normal skin and shadows like Leilana used.
I have spent tons of money on light sets.
I just cannot seem to find a light set that shows skin and colors with just a little shadow like Leilana uses.
You can look through her gallery and see the lights she NORMALLY uses are about the same type.
Please help!! Thank you so much!!

I have a strong feeling that she used these, made by Fabiana:
Theory of Light 2 - Energy Flow | Daz 3D --originally released on Rendo 28Nov17
Theory of Light 3 - The Heavens | Daz 3D --originally release on Rendo 6May20
Both of those sets were release before the assets you linked. I have them both and they are fantastic. They are not simply just a set of HDRI's. The Mister Mint sure feels like it came from The Heavens set, using a matte floor material.
The Wings in Jingle are also by Fabiana btw:

Thank you so much! I will try those. I actually forgot I had those while doing the project I am on :)
Hi Jan, if you can get your light sets setup to create the highlights you want, then you might just need to add a fill light to knock back the shadows.
Basically shine something (spot or directional light) intense and neon green into the shadows to confirm you've got the right placement and then change it to an almost black shade and fiddle with the intensity. You can tint it with a complementry colour (warm highlights, cool shadows as an example.) You might need to go bigger/softer/more diffuse/further away if you still have hard shadows.
I like the https://www.daz3d.com/elianeck light sets to start a quick mood and then tweak from there (also the HDRI light sets from https://www.daz3d.com/paper-tiger and https://www.daz3d.com/render-studio-3--hdri has the easiest to use basic lights)
sid Thank you so much!
I definitely want to check out these light sets and this process. It is a lot more than I have ever done with lights.
My first thought was, "oh boy, here we go again..." as this topic is a recurring one on the forums.
Here's the short answer for why they don't:
I probably forgot some reasons, but that's a start.
Edit: Forgot the obvious one: extra, tedious, and unpaid work for PAs who already don't roll in money, and their time is better spent on creating the next product.
While @ChanglingChick is not the only artist I have seen do so, this is a link to where the character is shown in a variety of lighting setups.

I do run into light references, along with characters combo references mentioned on promo images in quiet text. After first admiring the image, you have to really look at the full image to absorb the details offered. That doesn't always happen on the first look but a couple later.
