Mac remote drive handling request

If you are accessing DAZStudio base folder library on a remote disk using a Mac, you need to first access this drive in the Finder  to make it mount, then Daz will find the files.  I wish at start that Daz would create a temp file in the directory and check again if a directory is not found.  It's actually very fast, once mounted, the slowness on a Mac is from recursion going recursive going recursive going recursive, not network latency.

This isn't just a Mac issue - DS does not support network paths on either OS.

It would be the same on Windows if you set the remote drive to not auto-mount on start-up.

It looks like they have moved the settings on the newer versions of OSX so not sure where it lives in the natural navigation, however if you open settings and search for "Open at login" you should see a screen where you can configure that. Drag the mounted volume from your desktop to the table at the top and it should add it as a "Volume" type. From now on it should auto-mount that volume for you on bootup (if the drive is available).
