Strand based hair not visible in 3DL render !SOLVED!

Just as an acknowledgement, I get it, 3DL is dead, but 3Dl is what I use.
I just got AM's goat (as well as updating to D|S 4.24) and the strand based hair is not visible in 3DL renders. The shader used makes no difference, and I have tried other SB hair item to see if they still work, which they do.
Dose anyone know what's going on here?

You can try to set Tesselation in Parameters to 3, and see if that does a difference.
Yep, that was the problem, the hair was loading in with the tesselation set to zero.
The new omnishader for strand based hair uses tesselation 0, which in essence is no geometry. It is the shader that gives geometry during render.
