Vue 3D & Plant Factory Are Going Opensource

Bentley Systems is considering releasing the source code for its environment-creation tool Vue and plant-creation app PlantFactory as open-source software now that legal barriers have been cleared, and is asking the community to express interest to help make it happen

It would be a shame, if Vue rotted in the vaults.

I'd like to see, that someone gives this app a gpu based

render engine link.

I' d also like to see a way to bring DAZ characters in.

Vue could be a great render stage.

This is interesting.  I downloaded all the stuff when they offered it for free awhile back.  I am looking for an alternate program to do renders in and this just might work if they make it open source like Blender.  Am more familiar with Vue then Blender too.  Will watch this and see how it plays out.
