When I apply the STF body paint to any figure, the underlaing body disappears - what am I doing wrong..?

Moved to Technical Help as it is a product, rather than a Daz Studio, question.

It is most likely meant to aply to a Geometry Shell, a duplicate layer of mesh that covers the figue, so when you apply the preset you see the base skin showing through the painted areas. From the file list it appears that there are presets for applying the shell, but you can also use Create>New Geometry Shell
Did you apply the geoshell(s) first, and then select the "STF TBP - Genesis9_Shell - BOTTOM" or the "STF TBP - Genesis9_Shell - TOP" before applying the body paint? Applying it directly to the figure (i.e. the figure is selected) will replace the figures materials with the body paint materials.
