Just curious, loading a saved scene takes a minute for me. But, looking at the Task Manager, there is no indication that any parts of the system is very busy. So, what is the bottleneck slowing the loading down?
Daz Studio has to load all the morphs available for the characters used in the scene (e.g. genesis 8.1 female). If you have a lot of assets with morphs (characters, shapes, etc.) for a generation it will extend the loading time.
The process is faster than it used to be, but the important part of the morphs is establishing the linbks to other properties and that can take a while (and doesn't split down well to use multiple cores - Task manager is probably showing one thread maxed out on the CPU, plus a bit of extra activity).
Dang, look at the brains of you two. The attached shows the activity of the CPU cores as I load a scene. As Dr Haseltine predicted, most cores are ducking their duties.
