How to make bones invsible // wie Knochen unsichtbar machen

Hello everyone!

I have a imported OBJ-character equipped with bones so that I can position them. Everything worked fine!

However, I can't hide/make the bones invisible!

In “Tool Settings” -> “Joint Editor,” I can set “Visible Bones” to ‘off’ and also turn off visibility in the “Scene Editor,” but without any effect!

What do I need to do to hide the bones?

Hallo zusammen!

Ich ein Figur.OBJ mit Knochen ausgestattet, um diese in Positionen bringen zu können. Hat alles gut funktioniert!

Allerdings kann ich die Knochen nicht ausblenden / unsichtbar machen!

In "Tool-Settings" -> "Joint-Editor" kann ich "Visible Bones" auf "aus" stellen und im "Szene-Editor" die Sichtbarkeit auch auf aus, aber ohne jeden Effekt!

Was muss ich tun, um die Knochen aus zu blenden?

If I understand correctly, you probably mean you imported an FBX format figure rather than OBJ as OBJ format has no bones.

You can hide bones by : Select the figure's root node in Scene pane, in Parameters pane, set Show Bones to Off.

Thx a lot for your help and answer & thanks for the corrections, you understood me correctly.

Unfortunately, the “Show bones: off” function does not work, nor does “Visible in Render: off, Visible in Viewport,” etc.

I tried it from the root and on individual bones—without success!

 

It works fine with Genesis figures!

Do you have any other ideas?

From your screenshot, it seems that you imported a collection of FBX because there're a few figures in the scene pane. See those icons of "three cubes" in Scene pane, they're all figures.

So, you need to turn off Show Bones on each of them...

If that still doesn't work for you, sorry I have no other ideas by now... See if other folks can help.
