Is there a way to switch the Install Manager to Dark Mode?

My entire pc (Windows, apps, browser) has been running in Dark Mode for many years, and as a result, my monitors are calibrated accordingly.

The only program that constantly dazzles me and spoils the fun of working with it is, and remains, the Install Manager.

Therefore, my question is: Is there a way to switch the Install Manager to Dark Mode?

If there isn't a current method for doing so, I'd also like to request a dark mode update for Install Manager in the future if feasible.

  • It seems hardly anyone cares... Am I really one of the very few who are bothered by this extremely white-heavy 90s design?

I haven't tried it with DIM as I am still holding on to DazCentral for dear life, but there is an app in the Windows store called WinTop that forces apps into dark mode. It is a life saver for apps that insist on being horribly bright.

Oh, wasn't aware of this app... Thx a lot for the hint, I'll give it a try.

Edit: Wow, that's a real relief. Thank you so much again for the tip.

Thank you, gloam3d. WinTop looks like it will be useful for several programs I use. Thanks again and Merry Christmas to you and schlumpenhuber.

You are both welcome, I use it quite a lot as I am photosensitive, no white screens allowed! :) Merry Christmas!
