BJ Layers problem
I write Graphic novels with DAZ Studio and I need several figures with different clothing for different "times" in the novel. Until I found BJ layers I always indivudually showed or hid the neccessary clothing. Sometimes I had to hide the whole figure and when unhiding it it wore ALL clothes and I had to hide those I don't need.
BJ Layers seems to make this problem easy, but the layers are saved with the scene, not the figure. So I have to have ALL figures I use BJ with in EVERY scene (somewhere) even i I don't use them in this scene.
Is there a way to use BJ Layers with different figures without being forced to have them all in every scene?
I would like to contact BJ directly to ask this question but there seems to be no way to do this.

Daz handles customer support for vendors so they don't provide a way to contact them directly.

What I do is create a "working" folder for each story I work on, then I save each character on their own as a scene subset. If they appear over time if different outfits I'll create a separate save file for them in each outfit. Then I can just merge them into my scene (in the appropriate outfit) as I need them. The only thing you have to remember is not to save tonemapper and envirnment options in the subset files, as they'll overwrite whatever's in your scene when you merge a subset.
