Adjusting V4 Poser Clothing to G8 or G9 Models

Hey, so I've got a question here: I purchased a fairly old piece of clothing, the Dyanmic Peasant Clothing Bundle because I do like these outfits, but I do want to out them on G8 or G9 people. So, I want to mention that I know people will tell me Poser content should work normally in Daz, however, when I put these objects into Daz, there is no "Fit to" drag option when I want to put it on a figure. So I would like to ask, if I want to convert this to be good on Genesis 8 or 9, is there a converter, like from RSSY that will recognize this V4 Poser clothing and automatically convert it for me and it will be quick, OR is there no easy way around this and I have to do it by hand and dirty ala weight modifier brushing, and transfer utility tool? If there is a converter for these things easy to G8 or G9 let me know, and if not, let me know how you all would do it. Thank you all!

    There is this https://www.daz3d.com/rssy-clothing-converter-from-victoria-4-to-genesis-8-female

Else you can autofit V4 to G2, and then from G2 to G8 or G9.

Okay, I gotchya. I'm just hoping that converter will recognize so I cna select it for conversion in the first place. Thanks.

  • Also, idk if my original attachments uploaded, but here they are. It's a pp2 file.

As it is dynamic clothing, I will assume that you can apply dForce modifier to it after conversion, and it should behave fairly well.

  • Just be a little cautious with Poser Dynamic clothing. I had some V3 dynamic clothing that worked well enough in Poser, but it had facets much smaller than the minimum vertex distance in my dForce simulations. When dForcing it just exploded even at the default pose. It proved quicker & easier to scale everything by 10x, run the simulation then reduce the scale to 1x than it was to modify the minimum vertex difference for every material in DS.

Hope that gives a potential solution if you have explosions when none should exist.

    Regards,

    Richard
