    oh my gosh, thank you for that warning. I'm having flashbacks to seeing Peewee's Big Top Adventure (I think that was it?) at a playmate's house when I was young, and the jump-scare scene with the floating eyeballs and teeth stinking scarred me for life. (That and the sieleton on top of the clock in The Last Unicorn... no idea why those still give me the heebies way more than The Ring, and the only thing Blair Witch did was make me motion sick... but there we have it.)

    Just an FYI, the MMX Revolver 1873 is not accurate to the real Colt army revolver.  It was created as part of a modeling tutorial that focused on modeling technique and not model accuracy.

    Thanks for this!!

    Even though it's not perfectly accurate for the 1873 Colt SAA, it's still really good and will work in just about any render. I doubt most people would ever notice the little issues. I only have one other "copy" of the 1873 Colt that I would even consider using except in the far background. I have one that has flat grips which look really uncomfortable (and inaccurate), and another one the the grips are quite a bit smaller than the frame (also uncomfortable and inaccurate).

    It still looks great. It's probably better to avoid accurate copies anyway, to avoid copyright or trademark issues. (Of course I am not offering legal advice, because Hyacinth Macaws are not even admitted to law school.)

  • Me too, Thanks!

    I love the hat, https://www.daz3d.com/cmkd-yo-accessories-for-genesis-9 but I have to ask, what is the 'Egg'? After downloading it I am still confused.

    I think it's inspired by this kind of games:

    Thanks @Elor. Reading that explanation my granddaughter would have known it right away I bet. My flatmate is all over Japanese anime and I am surprised I didn't see it pop up in one of them when I was able to catch some of the sequences on his various screens. He has been known to have three running at one time, along with a 1930 B/W movie and YouTube podcasts while he writes. I have no idea how he does it.

    Don't feel too bad. Teen Kiddo has a Tamagochi (or however that's spelled) and I still didn't figure it out just from the visual... and even the description took me a moment. (I was just a little too old to get caught in the initial craze, as I think they came out right around the time I graduated high school.)

    I think the https://www.daz3d.com/vo-misao-christmas-nail-art is delightful and I could see a young girl wanting to have her nails done for a special party with those. What lovely details were put into them.

  • Much appreciation and gratitude for the free gifts!

    We haven't had any renders so far, so I thought I'd do at least one. Hope there'll be more shared!

    I used Belladzines's dForce Avery Dress For Genesis 9, MartinJFrost's Christmas Bouquets and Vases, and VOOTW's Vo Misao Christmas Nail Art (which is a little hard to see in the final render, but the designs are really cute). Lots of lovely gifts from the PAs. Thank you so much! heart

    @SapphireBlue: Beautiful render!

  • mding Thank you! heart It's always so much fun to play with the gifts and new shiny things we got! smiley

    I'm keeping a list of the gifts we get in a post in the first page of the thread, but will probably be offline for a good chunk of the month. Can I ask if someone can keep a list of the gifts we get for the second half of the month, from the 18th on? It's nice to have a place to refer back to them, even after the month is over. smiley

    @SapphireBlue: I could keep a list from 18th on in this post, but can't guarantee that i don't accidentally miss a day or two. I'll give my best smiley
