How to organize my stuff
in New Users
Is there anyway to organize this from my account list. So like I have a lot of products but I can't find anything because of how many things I have. Is there anyway to categorize them like hairs and people and clothes and environment

Do you mean inside Daz Studio software or on daz3D.com? Based on your screenshot, I assume you mean you want to filter this list https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files
I dont see any way of categorising that list, but I also dont necessarily see the point/value in doing so.
Upon installation, content will already be organised in your content library and smart content in a systematic/conventional way.
For the list of products you own on the Daz store I believe that the Daz Deals plugin adds some functionality that may help categorize things (apply label) but I have not used it.
For the general questions, Smart Content should have been the answer to that - but since it's often missing or wrong it unfortnately cannot be relied upon. My current go-to is to search on google for whatever outfit, prop, pose etc the scene needs and hope that one of the first few items that pops up is a product that I already own (or is on sale).
Between content library tab and smart content tab, dont see much point in googling and hoping, but maybe you have more products than me
Yea it's content I haven't installed yet I was hoping there was a way for me to categorize it so I can pick and choose what to install beforehand
I give a fairly detailed way that i organize my content. I have probably close to 10,000 assets at the moment and can find anything I want in under 30 seconds. https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/65818/ice-dragon-art-wip-s/p18. Its about halfway down the page. I also have a far more in depth tutorial in the daz store, but take a look at the link first.
@icedragonart
thank you so much!
You're welcome! It's a bit of work to start but it has saved me hours of frustration lol. And you can set it up whatever way makes sense to you. You can put things in multiple categories as well. For instance, I might have a category that is named belt, and I toss all the belts from various outfits in there so if I want to kit bash I don't have to look through every single outfit to find what I want. If you have any questions i would be happy to help
might be easier to install everything you own via DIM and then ignore everything you dont care about
Is harddrive space so precious?
