What to hide for simulations

What to hide for simulations. I usually go through a small process to pick apart a scene to isolate the objects or ground a dforce object might collide with.

Just curious if that is necessary? Will Daz ignore or not calculate anything that wont have any deforce objects interact with them or just good practice to keep hiding as much as I can before running a sim?

Thanks!

  • A simpler route might be to select the thinmgs you do want involved (the items to simulate and the things they are to colide with) and use the Simulate Selected command from the Simulation Settings option menu.

In the Simulation Settings tab, click the drop-down menu icon in the top corner.
