Issue with a pose pack

This is a bit frustrating. I just got this pose pack which is pretty much exactly what I need for an idea I have: https://www.daz3d.com/lying-embracing-poses-for-genesis-8
I generally assume G8F and G8.1F is pretty much interchangeable for any assets, and especially poses should be no problem as you can even convert poses for a completely different Genesis version.
However, after I've already taken the time to create a G8.1F figure with a bunch of manual adjustments, the poses simply do nothing when I try to apply them. They seem to work fine for a G8F figure. The pack also includes a reset pose option, which returns a "Selected item 'Genesis8_1Female' isn't a Genesis 8 based figure's root" error, which I assume is the core of the problem.
Any way to simply get this to work with G8.1F as normal? I always assume there should be some kind of convert option even if it doesn't match the Genesis version, but for this simply nothing happens and I see no way to work around this.

The product page says they are .dse files, which means scripts - I don't know what it is doing to verify the figure ID, but it obviously is seeing 8.1 as different. What I would suggest is apply the pose to Genesis 8 Female, then Edit>Copy>Cipoy Figure Pose, select the 8.1 figure, Edit>Paste>Paste Figure Pose.
Another solution, copy the DUF's from the data folder(data\ATGL\poses\006) if you want to save some time from the copy/paste method richard proposes.
They work with 8 and 8.1 just fine, though there seems to be some minor differences between when the script is run and when just using the preset(duf) itself, such as scale being set to 95%, so you may need to adjust 8.1 to match the scripts results.
You'll need to copy the PNG's from the original pose folder, and rename them accordingly, if you want thumbnails.
Alternatively, I'd like to suggest the easiest way:
1) Select your G8.1F figure, go to menu: Edit > Figure > Scene Identification..., change Node Name: Genesis8_1Female to Genesis8Female. In the same way, select G8.1M figure, change Node Name: Genesis8_1Male to Genesis8Male.
2) Run the pose scripts. They'll work as expected.
Thanks a lot for the replies! I went with crosswind's method first and it worked :)
