how to put nail material separately on toes and fingers

I'm trying to put a nail material on my model cause the nails come out black in blender. I applie it, works on the fingers but it uses the same texture for the toenails and there's black lines and such. I got a material with toenails but there's nothing there that'll allow me to apply it separately

All characters has seperate surfaces for fingernails and toenails.
