25 extra gen 9

I have just noticed that I have 25 extra gen 9 characters that are add ons to characters that I do not own. Unfortunately they do not seem to work as stand alone figures. Anyone know where these came from?

Your Premier membership, at least while you still have it.

They don't seem to do me much good if I don't have the base product thouigh.

That's... not really relevant? Your question was "where did these come from?", not "how am I supposed to use these?"

Even if that were the question, the list of the premier content is available through the Membership page (specifically here: https://www.daz3d.com/blog/exclusive-premier-only-content) and is kept up-to-date, and since the start the Premier content has been almost exclusively variant shapes for the core characters (I think the only one that might be stand-alone is Aiko 9?), so they've always given you a fairly clear concept of what you would be getting.

Premier is like any of the products Daz sell - if you don't want or need part of a product (like, for example, hating the shoes in an outfit set), then it's down to you to decide whether the parts you do want are still worth the price to you.

I mean, personally, Premier just works out as a net positive purely as far as my store spending, and I wouldn't even need to like the plug-ins or the exclusive content for it to be worthwhile.

I believe those may be Premier exclusive add-on shapes for those base figures. They don't work without the base figures and are only in your library while you stay subscribed to Premier. But if you have the base figures it gives you more shaping options.

I wish these were installable via DIM. I've kept away from them because allowing connect to install anything is still messing up my library.

It's rented content. Thus, I would not touch it. Think about it. You can only use it while you have premier.

Bingo! and why I will never be a premier member

^ I have literally never logged in while being in Premier. I have not logged in to Daz in years. For me, for now, there's enough benefit just for buying stuff that it's worth the cost of being a Premier member.

This. I have no use for connect. It just breaks things.
