dForce SU loose shirt for G9 - advice on natural draping?

Is there a way for the "dForce SU loose shirt for G9" to fall naturally on a figure that is bent over? With it open, it still adheres pretty closely to the G9 figure, bending at the hips, rather than hanging straight down as one would naturally. I assume this also happens on a lot of other dForce clothing that falls to and below the figure's hips.

It only will do this with other clothing if the dForce settings are set up that way. I have this shirt, and I am seeing the same odd behaviour as you.

For some reason some PAs want their clothing to stay relatively static during simulation, rather than performing as it should when soft cloth is draped by gravity.

There were a number of settings on the surface, and with the dForce weightmaps added that forced the cloth to work like you are seeing. I simply deleted the dForce setting completely, then added it anew. Then I lowered the dynamic strength for the collar and sleeves to 0.9, and then simulated. Below is the result, where you can see that the shirt drapes as it should.

Because the shirt open is a morph the dynamic set-up needs to work with the closed shape. I would have thought it better to have a dForce add-on to hold the shirt closed, then it could be removed (or they could be removed, one per button) to get an open effect as required. As Havos says you need to adjust the weighting and/or surface settings for the open situation so that the cloth no longer acts restrained - I would, in geenral, not wantt o remove and reapply the dForce modifier as that stips out all customisations (assuming there are any, for example to give a better approximation to the fabric type).
