Set New Render Window size

is there a way to set the size of the new render window

and bonus, which monitor it opens on?

it is far too small and ideally I would like it fully maximised on one monitor

I know I can do so manually after it starts rendering but after the 30th render from a different camera in a row this gets old quickly

its frustrating enough D|S doesn't render each camera in turn without a paid plugin without having to take extra manual steps for each one

I'm not sure I understand your goal, but would it work to set Local Dimensions on each camera?

this is the new window that opens when you choose not to render to file

I do it because sometimes I want to close it and change settings before it completes and it's still faster than setting the viewport to iray if it will even render on my card

it's a heavy scene issue, light scenes I just render to file as fast

    this is how it opens

    not that I have seen

I do know one of ManFriday's Render queue products apparently does it

(and now inactive! so one needs to be Premier by looks)

but I always found it weird one cannot even copy paste or load different saved camera parameters to a single camera along the timeline

A Pose or Property Preset will work on a camera, for the type(s) of proeprty they save - the latter would be the choice if you want the actual camera settings. Camera presets are for creating new cameras (and, by default, removing the old).

Copy and paste should work, it copies the settings from one node and then pastes their values to any matching properties on another node (but it won't change types, only the settings that are common to both).

I have tried copy and paste unsuccessfully before

I will retry pose or property but if I recall, it misses stuff

    on my original query though

the horizontal size is preserved when it pops up each render, it's the vertical thats is truncated

and it always appears on the window monitor where I click render

I don't know of a way to adjust the render window - personally I would like to be able to zoom it, and have it start with a user-specified zoom.
