Apply UV maps from G8 bodies onto the Strand based Hair

Hello guys, i want to make a werewolf character, but the current options i have for G8 Male body are not to my liking, so i want to make my own Fur for it, but I've come to realized that the fur has a UV map that is reserved for the hair, but the thing is that my character has multiple fur colors, is there a way to make the Strand Based Hair has the UV maps of my character? Like the torso UV map or the Arm UV map? Is this possible? Please, let me know, it would be greatly appreciated!

If you make your own hair in Daz Studio's SBH Editor, then yes, it can use the surface UVs of the surface that it is attached to. So you can apply a texture made for the surface UV to the SBH.
If you make fur in other software and import then no (unless you are an official daz vendor)
I use different PA furs with different textures all the time
they nearly all use the figure's UV map
the tails sometimes need some work
