separating objects from a scene when the entire scene is loaded as one

There are quite a few products that do not include separate props and only load a complete scene. I have seen a product that can pull those objects out intact and create files , etc for them. I might even own it, but cannot remember the name of this marvelus product.
Anyone know what it is? TIA

    Perhaps https://www.daz3d.com/environment-set-splitter ?

I've had mixed luck with it. On more than one occasion I've wound up having to take after stuff with geometry editor, delete anything I don't want, and then make the remaining object its own group so it's easier to manipulate in the scene.

thanks, and as I stated, I do own it blush that happens so much. How to ever keep track of all this stuff?

Personally I export an object, delete the bits I don't want and then re-import the bit I do want and copy the material across. Geometry editor, really, just done with a program better suited to modelling. Regards, Richard.
