Sorry, but I can't seem to find the search function for the forums. This is my unfinished work for week 5.
I had some difficulties due to a couple reasons. Someone had the air conditioner turned on, and I got ice cold. They turned it off, and I was too warm, Then I tried to wals across the room. My right knee totally buckled.

Sounds like a rough day, Ron.
yeah
Here's the painting from week 6. That's the final day of class.
Next week we'll do an art show.
I'd be interested to see what some of the other people have painted, too. maybe you can take some photos at your art show.
Oh wow, that is nice! So much movement in that painting!
barbilt, our art show will be chaotic. We have less than an hour because we need to make room for another event. I won't be able to handle the extra stress.
I've already moved on to my "human" projects, making acrylic paintings from some of my DAZ Studio work.
mding, thanks for the compliment.
Nice, you still managed the "Happy Faced" Flower (Daisy?).
ChuckM the Happy Face was just a non-specific gimmick. At the last minute I painted a stem.
I Iike your term: "Happy Faced" flower!
I quite like the purple flowers
Thanks, IceDragonArt!
What's the next activity on the schedule, now that painting is over?
I've signed up for an American Sign Language (ASL) class.
But I really didn't like the way the first class went. I'm not sure if I can learn anything there.
I might need "one on one" teaching. I can't learn from books. I tried on and off for 4 years.
That sounds tough. There would be a lot of memorization and hand dexterity required. Do you have any deaf friends that use ASL, so this skill would useful for you? If so, it might be worth the effort. If not, if it were me, I would forget it all due to lack of use.
I have plenty of deaf friends. Two of them are teaching the ASL class.
Well then it seems like a worthwhile skill to learn.
We had a great Art Show today. Everyone got some great compliments (including me!).
We made it into a brief "social hour." There was another event scheduled soon after the art show.
Out building manager took some photos of me and my art. I assume I'll get a copy later. I'll post it here when I get it.
This isn't a flower painting, but I couldn't resist. This is an acrylic painting of Ollie 8.
Ollie 8 is an incredibly versatile and unique character - very nice painting, congrats Ron!
Thanks, mding
