Clothing being removed in Genesis

When creating characters, I first create the character, apply the morphs and then start adding hair, accessories, clothing, etc. I will normally dress the character in a few different outfits. This has never been a problem for G8, G3 or G2 but when I try it with plain ole Genesis, it doesn't work. If my character is wearing a shirt and I add another shirt, the first shirt disappears -- meaning it is completely removed. Have others experienced this and is there a way around it? Again, this is only an issue with Genesis.

Not happening for me. I put so many shirts on G1 it could have braved Alaska.

There is a pop-up window that sometimes appears asking if you want to replace similar clothing on a figure, and I know it's theoretically possible to tell it to not ask in future and always replace. I don't know if this setting is preserved per-figure, I don't know how to reset it, but it's the best thought I've got as a starting point.

Replacement Management doesn't depend on Genesis figures but Content Type only. You can check what options is chosen in F2 > Content > Replacement Management

Then check if the loaded shirts have the identical Content Types (in Scene Identification...).

I was thinking it possible that the older content might more often have the type properly set.
